The authors must accept that the article is original and unpublished, as well as that it has not been published in another academic or scientific journal.

Authors who wish to publish in the International Academic Journal of Physical Education must send the manuscript using the platform.

When submitting an article through this platform, in "Step 3. Entering submission metadata", do not forget to indicate your first and last name and your email address, and include the title of the article, its keywords and its abstracts in Spanish and in English. To do this, select the language "Spanish" in the box that will appear at the top of the page and include the data in Spanish; then, select the English language in the same box and enter the data in English. You must also fill in the "Affiliation" box, indicating the name and postal address of your institution and your academic category.

Extension: It must not exceed 7,000 words

Title: in Spanish and English, not exceeding 12 words

Abstract: maximum length of 200-250 words, in Spanish and English (in addition to the language in which the article is written).

Keywords: maximum five terms, in Spanish and English (in addition to the language in which the article is written). Use the Unesco Thesaurus.

Format: Word (refrain from sending in PDF)

Font type and size: times new roman, 12; line spacing 1.5.

Style: Manuscripts must be clear and argumentative. The ideas must not contain expressions of racism, business advertising or marketing, political ideologies or other terms that violate the ethics and morals of other people.

Structure: the IMRDC model (Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion and Conclusions) will be used, the essay articles must contain an introduction to the phenomenon or problem, the theoretical body and the conclusions, the reviews must contain the reviewed content, the critical commentary. the conclusions and the reference.

Author citations: according to APA 6th Edition standards.

For example, depending on the case: (Elias, 1987), (Elias, 1987; Varela, 2000), (Elias, 1987, p. 32), Elias (1987, p. 32). If different texts by the same author published in the same year are cited, they will be distinguished by adding a, b, c, etc. to the year of publication.

In-text citations, if they are within a paragraph, will be highlighted by quotation marks. If in an independent paragraph, in addition to the quotation marks, the left side will be indented 0.75 cm.

Others: the pages will be numbered in the center of the lower part. If possible, footnotes should be avoided.

Bibliography

It will be indicated in alphabetical order at the end of the article, sticking exclusively to the works cited in the text. The APA6 standards will be followed, to which the following examples conform:

The external reviewers will have a period of 15-20 days to generate the notification of response to the authors.

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • I agree to cover the corresponding APC cost upon completion of the editorial process, as part of supporting the publication platform.
