His academic background — Bachelor in Sport, Specialist in Pedagogy and Teaching, and Master in Physical Activity, Training, and Sports Management — demonstrates a deep commitment to education, teaching, and research in the field of sport sciences. He is an Associate Researcher at MinCiencias and Leader of the research group “Scientific and Pedagogical Studies of Sport and the Athlete” within the Faculty of Physical Education at the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional.
Through his work as both a teacher and researcher, Professor Becerra Patiño has promoted significant studies on sports performance, physical education, women’s sports, and coach training.

Her trajectory is a testament to ethical commitment, rigorous research, and social sensitivity—values that today, more than ever, must resonate across all fields of knowledge, including physical education.
Viviana Andrea Arboleda Sánchez is a clinical psychologist, Master of Psychology, and research professor at the University of Manizales. Her work has focused on areas such as neuropsychopedagogy, phenomenology, logotherapy, and existential analysis—disciplines she has skillfully integrated to understand complex phenomena such as autism, ADHD, and processes of subjectivity from an interdisciplinary perspective. Throughout her career, she has participated in national and international conferences and has contributed valuable scientific publications that illuminate paths toward inclusion, respect for difference, and the strengthening of human-centered pedagogy.
Recognized for her ability to bridge philosophy and neuroscience, Viviana has developed innovative proposals that have directly benefited the community, including intervention programs with children on the autism spectrum, inclusive classroom models, and studies on the mirror neuron system in educational contexts. In 2022, she was honored by the University of Manizales as a graduate who transforms lives—an accolade that reflects the social and human impact of her work.

Martínez on its cover, a distinguished figure in the fields of marketing, sports, health, and the environment. Born in 1977, Professor Martínez is currently a tenured professor of marketing at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT). His impressive academic trajectory includes degrees in Industrial Technical Engineering, Research and Market Techniques, Environmental Sciences, and various specializations and postgraduate studies in environmental management, sports management, and system dynamics. His PhD in Business Sciences, specializing in marketing, has solidified his reputation as a prolific researcher and a reference in academia.
Throughout his career, Professor Martínez has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Extraordinary Degree Award and the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. His contribution to knowledge is reflected in more than 100 articles published in prestigious academic journals such as Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, Reviews of Environmental Health, and the Journal of Sport Management, among others. Additionally, he has served as an associate editor of RICYDE for 12 years, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence and the dissemination of knowledge. His research in sports management, statistical analysis of athlete performance, and studies on morbidity and mortality associated with sports are a testament to his dedication and passion for improving the intersection of marketing, sports, and health.

On this occasion, we give special recognition to the teacher Nicolás Guarnizo Carballo for the academic efforts he has provided in the field of physical education, he has been a proponent of research projects, he has a master's degree in International Education and is in his doctoral training in Physical Education and Sports Training, author of academic articles nationally and internationally, speaker at various academic and scientific events. He was a teacher in different schools managing pedagogical and investigative projects.
He currently works as a professor at the University of Los Llanos-Colombia and as director of the International Scientific Association of Physical Education carrying out different academic activities.
