Violencia familiar: Análisis bibliométrico y revisión de literatura

Resumen

La violencia familiar constituye un fenómeno de múltiples formas y dimensiones que amerita continuar siendo investigado, puesto que las ampliaciones en su comprensión permiten el planteo de intervenciones cuyo impacto lleve a la disminución de sus alarmantes cifras. En coherencia con lo anterior, el propósito del artículo es la identificación y análisis bibliométrico de la producción científica sobre Violencia Familiar en la base de datos SCOPUS, sin establecimiento de ventana de tiempo. Se encontraron 1712 documentos, en los cuales se analizaron tendencias de publicación por año, revista, instituciones, países, autores; también se analizaron análisis de red y acoplamiento bibliográfico, lo que permitió concluir que la producción, si bien es creciente, está concentrada en países angloparlantes, lo que implica que la mayor producción está en inglés. En cuanto a las tendencias, la violencia familiar se considera causa de otros fenómenos y problemáticas que afectan a la sociedad, especialmente los trastornos de la salud mental y la conducta criminal. Los tipos de violencia familiar mas estudiados son el abuso infantil y la violencia de pareja, dejando de lado a los adultos mayores. Si bien se identificó una tendencia para la evaluación de programas de intervención, se requiere continuar la investigación para la formulación de nuevas estrategias contextuales y útiles
