Educación física, movimiento con sentido y libertad: hacia una comprensión antropológico-pedagógica

Resumen

La aceleración social, la exigencia contemporánea de rendimiento y el cansancio plantean desafíos para comprender la relación entre cuerpo, movimiento y formación más allá de criterios de eficiencia y desempeño. Este artículo analiza las posibilidades de comprender el movimiento como una experiencia formativa de sentido y libertad mediante el diálogo entre la logoterapia, la fenomenología de la corporeidad y la educación física. Metodológicamente, desarrolla un análisis teórico-conceptual que articula aportes filosóficos y antropológicos sobre aceleración, rendimiento, valores, sentido de vida, corporalidad y libertad con desarrollos contemporáneos de la educación física, particularmente la physical literacy y la Meaningful Physical Education. El análisis permite distinguir entre una experiencia de movimiento personalmente significativa y una experiencia de movimiento con sentido, e introduce la categoría de posibilidad corporal como el horizonte situado desde el cual la persona descubre, amplía o resignifica aquello que puede hacer mediante su cuerpo, incluyendo el límite, el aprendizaje, la acción alternativa y la relación con otros. Se concluye que la educación física puede asumir una función antropológico-pedagógica al generar condiciones para que el movimiento favorezca experiencias de descubrimiento, relación, elección y orientación hacia posibilidades reconocidas como valiosas, sin reducir el cuerpo al rendimiento ni atribuir a la disciplina una función terapéutica. Asimismo, se propone desarrollar investigaciones cualitativas y fenomenológicas que permitan explorar cómo se configurarían estas posibilidades en experiencias concretas de educación física.
